Lindos Village

I've added some photos of Lindos village.
There are 3 beaches, Lindos main beach (the one we will be sat on most days), Pallas beach and St Pauls Bay, They all have warm crystal blue sea and white sand with a number of beach bars along all 3 of the beaches.

There are a fair few restaurants in the village and because of the heat they nearly all are rooftop restaurants which means you get a view of the Acropolis lit up at night. I'm not just saying this but I've never had a bad meal in Lindos so no need to recommend any restaurants in particular, I've uploaded a picture of a map of the restaurants just so you have an idea how many there is to chose from.  
If you like to sit in bars on the evening there is a few to chose from I've uploaded a picture of a map of the bars in the gallery. We then usually end up at Arches nightclub or Arches open air (on Fridays and Saturdays) But I get that's not for everyone :)

Accommodation Recommendations

There are a number of hotels in Lindos however they are at the back of the village which means walking up a very steep hill to get to them, You can get taxis from the center but I do not know how frequently they pass through. There are a lot more Apartments/Villas which are centrally located. I have listed some of the Hotels and Apartments below which can be booked direct or via booking.com etc. Air Bnb also have alot of options on their website. 

When searching for accommodation you'll see a lot of accommodation appear that is actually based in Pefkos this is a 15 minute taxi journey from Lindos so unless you want to stay there just double check, Another area that might appear is Paralia Beach a few of the hotels here start with Lindos but again these are a 10 minute taxi journey away.

Day Trips

Day Trips

Rhodes Town - You can get a bus from Lindos to Rhodes town it takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes and costs €6 euro (I think). It's definitely worth a visit if you fancy a day trip its full of pretty cobbled streets.

WaterPark - The Waterpark is in Faliraki there is a free bus from Lindos which leave at 09:10 each day and returns from the waterpark at 17:00, It takes around 45 minutes from Lindos. Entry is €24 for adults and €16 for children aged 3-16 and Free for ages 0-3. This is definitely worth a visit and Mats favorite part of the holiday :)

Lindos Acropolis - Opening times are 08:00 – 20:00 daily. You can walk up to the Acropolis from Lindos village, it will take you around 20 minutes (depending on how hot it is) or you can pay for a donkey ride to the top for €10 return which might be a good idea for the kids so they do not have to walk. Entry fee is €12.
